Confirming the Churches (Acts 15:41):the evangelistic work of Al & Chris Parr |
| Luke says that Paul went forth "confirming the churches" (Acts 15:41). But what Paul did was "delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem" (16:4). The result of that work: "so were the churches established in the faith and increased in number daily" (16:5). Our work, then, is to so teach the Bible that the faith of Christians will be firmly established, and that they will be equipped to do their part in bringing about growth of the local church. This we do through gospel meetings, leadership support classes, and congregational teaching on specific topics as requested by your local church leadership. Our work is fully funded by supportive saints in various places, so that the churches who most need this kind of teaching and fellowship will incur no charges on our behalf. |
